Oiva Toikka is one of the greatest names in Finnish design. His outstanding collection, the Annual Cube, first emerged in 1977 at the Nuutajärvi glassworks. Working with Nuutajärvi’s glassblowing masters, Toikka created handcrafted glass cubes using a complex technique, demonstrating his unique style and artistic mastery. Thanks to the collection's success, the collaboration continued at the Iittala glassworks, where the series evolved and new masterpieces are created.

Since then, the collection has continuously expanded, introducing limited-edition cubes, each with its own distinctive design, unique internal glass landscape, and history. Today, Annual Cubes are highly valued among collectors who seek these rare pieces for their own galleries.
