Helena Tynell
Hellin Helena Tynell (1918 – 2016) was a powerhouse of 20th-century design, celebrated for her ability to balance mass-market practicality with avant-garde glass sculpture. While she was a prolific creator of everyday objects, her heart often lay in artistic experimentation with abstract forms and casting techniques. Her most enduring legacy is undoubtedly the Aurinkopullo (Sun Bottle). This radiant, sculptural vase, produced in a kaleidoscope of 19 different colors, brought a sense of optimism and vibrant joy into thousands of homes, cementing her status as a master of both form and atmosphere.
