It belonged to the Vanha Kartano series and was made in red, amber, blue, blue-grey, grey, olive, turquoise, lilac and clear glass. \u003cspan class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchor\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eThe vase was produced using mould-blown colour-overlay glass, a technique in which coloured glass was blown into a mould, creating its characteristic layered surface and relief. The mould itself played an important role in shaping the pronounced form of the vase. Emma was produced from 1968 until 1976. Emma is part of a distinctive group of Helena Tynell's Riihimäen Lasi glass designs from the late 1960s, when the factory was producing some of her most recognisable mould-blown decorative glass.
